Our transfer from Tahiti to Cairns starts on August 24th at 6:30 am and ends in Cairns on August 26th at 01:30 am.
That sounds like a 43 hours travel time BUT in reality we are “only” traveling for 23 hours. We fly in total 11.5 hours distributed on three flights:
Tahiti ➡️ Auckland ➡️ Brisbane ➡️ Cairns and we spend 11.5 hours on airports. The other 20 hours we loose in a blink as we are crossing the time zone from -12 h to +8 h…
We check in at our hotel in Cairns in the middle of the night to get some hours of sleep before we will start our next adventure… It’s time to discover Australia!
